Emma set up Animate Communications to work with people and projects making a positive impact in the world. A seasoned PR professional, Emma has led campaigns and developed PR strategy for a vast range of creative clients including publishers, public art organisations, conservation charities and celebrities. Outside of work Emma can be found learning to play drums or exploring the great outdoors with her Romanian street dog, Paolo.
Claire is an experienced publicist and former journalist. Having worked at some of the UK's leading publishing houses including Canongate Books, Claire has implemented PR campaigns that have seen titles rocket up the bestsellers charts. She was the publicist behind the campaign for the Sunday Times Bestselling How to Stop Time by Matt Haig, and has worked on a huge variety of books and projects. She can offer complete and tailored frontlist campaigns as well as event and social media management. Claire has just been shortlisted for the PPC Annual Awards for Hardback Fiction 2018.
Wildlife Biologist/Communications Specialist
Having been part of the conservation sector for over six years, Hannah has worked with a vast array of charities to help them communicate their vital messages in the most impactful and far-reaching ways possible, using words as well as still and moving imagery. A creative events organiser, Hannah has curated and directed both nature and performance/music-oriented events, including outdoor photography exhibitions, pop-up nature cinemas, festival stages and club nights. Writing both fiction and scientific text, Hannah has experience of creating literature targeted towards a variety of audiences.
Digital Marketing consultant
Nathan has worked on a variety of online projects and campaigns, from live-tweeting for large sporting events such as NFL’s Super Bowl final, to fundraising drives for a small conservation charity in Africa, and almost everything in between. His main specialities are social media and online advertising, and he holds Google Certifications in Adwords Fundamentals, Search Advertising, and Analytics.
